What happens if I leave my job, take parental or unpaid leave, or experience long-term sickness?

Your employer may make Revenue Assurance protection a requirement of joining the scheme, giving both you and the business added peace of mind. This protection can help cover early termination costs if you leave the business in circumstances covered by the policy. Depending on the cover selected, support may also be available during certain periods of parental leave, sickness or unpaid leave.

Before you join, you’ll receive details of the cover, its cost, any waiting periods or exclusions, and who is responsible for charges not covered.

If your circumstances change, contact your employer or scheme administrator before planned leave, or as soon as possible after an unexpected change. They can explain how payments will be managed, whether protection applies and the options available which may include continuing to use the car, returning it or arranging an agreed transfer.
